About CTET:
The CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.) and schools under the administrative control of Union Territories of Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi.
CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option of considering the CTET Schools owned and managed by the State Government/local bodies and aided schools shall consider the TET conducted by the State Government. State Government can also consider the CTET if it decides not to conduct the State TET.
The registration process of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2018 will begin from 01-08-2018 on the official website www.ctet.nic.in. All appearing candidates are requested to apply through the prescribed format latest by 27-08-2018; the fee can be paid until 30-08-2018.
Date of Examination : 16-09-2018 (Sunday)
Applicable for Classes : Class I to VIII
How to apply
Step 1: Go to the official website - www.ctet.nic.in.
Step 2: Go to the link that says "Apply Online" and open the same.
Step 3: Fill in the online application form and note down Application Number.
Step 4: Upload scanned images of latest photograph and signature.
Step 5: Pay examination fee by e-challan or online by debit or credit card.
Step 6: Print confirmation page for record and future reference.
CTET Examination fee:
For General/OBC:
- Only Paper I or II: Rs 700
- Both Papers I and II: Rs 1200
For SC/ST/Differently-abled:
- Only Paper I or II: Rs 350
- Both Papers I and II: Rs 600
Languages for CTET 2018:
English, Hindi, Assamese, Bangla, Garo, Gujarati, Kanada, Khasi, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Mizo, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu, Tibetan and Urdu.
